During this whole week, we estimated many parts a cob of a sweetcorn. The people that I worked with were Shanelle and Nataliyar. When we got a cob of corn we had to estimate then count it. I found that estimating corn was easy. I think that working in a group is a lot easier because when we are stuck on something, then the person next to you can help you. What I want to learn next is to revise decimals.

your lucky you got to work in a group of 3. I only worked in a group of 2 Trinity and I. We both thought that estimating the parts of a cob of corn was easy as well and that working in a group is easy. Did you know that a cob of corn has about 800 kernels? Would you recommend this activity to any student?
