Cement in a cup

WALT: make 3D art.

For the last few weeks, we made a 3D art which is called cement in a cup art. After when we all finished making our 3D art, we put soil and plants in the cup. For this art it was fun and easy.

Paper Mache

In the past few Monday's, we went to technology and we worked on making our charters for our juice boxes. The character that I made was a grape. It took time for me to make this because I had to glue the pieces together and wait till it dries.  Next, the I would like to do shirt printing.

One Wish

One night a boy named Henry wished to be big, so he could help certain people like his whanau. Henry loved helping people because he loves being useful. Henry has brown curly hair, light brown eyes and likes to dress up like he’s going out somewhere.

The next day, Henry woke up to a beautiful sunny day. Henry prepared to go for a walk with his dog. Once he was ready, Henry asked for permission if he could go for a walk with his dog Harry. Henry said to Harry, “Come on Harry, let’s go.” As they rushed through the door. Henry and Harry power walked into a beautiful forest.As they entered the forest, Henry said, “ WOW! This place is beautiful.”Simultaneously they walked and looked around until, they bumped into this monk looking person who grants only one wish per person.

Henry said to the monk, “I wished to be outsized so I could help a lot of people.” So the monk said in a mutter voice, “Your wish is granted.” A few days later, Henry sprouted and sprouted. Henry’s parents asked him, “wow, you have grown fast,” and Henry replied, “I know right.” Henry was growing and scared at the same time because he doesn’t know if he could go back into his normal size. When Henry grew big, Harry kept on barking because he didn’t notice that the giant was his owner. Henry said in an echoing voice, “Harry, calm down, it’s me Henry.” Henry’s parents were worried because they didn’t know where Henry was. Henry made a decision about going back to his normal life, because he already knows that if walks around to look for help then, everyone will start screaming and running about.

Henry ran to the forest to go to the monk to turn him back to a normal human being. It took Henry two steps to get to the beautiful forest. Henry said in a deep scared voice, “can you please change me back into my average size please?.” The monk said, “No!” Henry cried and said, “why. Why can’t you change me back.” And the monk said, “if you want to change back into your average size then first you have to do something.” After when Henry had finished doing what the monk wanted, the monk said, “ give me your hand.” The monk gave Henry’s hand a reassuring squeeze. Minutes later Henry changed back to his normal size and ran back to his parents.

On arrival when Henry got back his family, the sky muted in a yellowish orangish colour. His parents were so happy, they even grounded him, and Henry said, “I’m fine with that.”  

Prototec

Today for maths we did our basic facts on prototec. On prototec I did stage 7, and on that stage I got 82%. The things that I've got wrong and need to revise is converting fractions into percentages. What I want to revise next is LCM and HCF.
