Subject Selection Pathway

Wednesday night, all year 10's had to attend to the "Subject Selection Pathway" that was held in the auditorium from 4pm - 6pm. Two options that I would or want to take would be Health and P.E. The reason as to why I would want to take those two subjects is because I want to pursue my dream as a Nurse. Subjects that are compulsory for next year, NCEA LV 1 are Maths, English, and Science.

Child Labour

Child Labour is children who are underage like 16 and under for instants, are working long hours in hazardous conditions without wearing any safety protection. Child Labor began in the 1700's to 1800's. The motivation behind why it began amid those years was that numerous families needed to discover somebody to work or else they wouldn't survive.

Child Labour causes immediate effects. And that's where immediate effects come in. When children underaged are working, they could have some injuries or might be ill, which causes them to have permanent disabilities. Other than quick wounds, skin issues and numerous others connect to neediness and absence of instruction and extreme weakness.

The motivation behind why numerous children are in child work is either in light of the fact that they have nobody or no place to go. Or then again in light of the fact that they originate from an exceptionally poor family, so they need to begin working at a youthful age just to get paid.

Human Rights

The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, was made in 1948 soon after World War II had finished. The reason for this entire Universal Declaration of Human Rights was to bring "Peace" to every single country of the world. In some countries like Syria, for instance, don't go by the UDHR. The reason why they disobey the UDHR is that some say it isn't vital to them. The nations that do comply with the UDHR are nations like New Zealand, Iceland, Germany, Sweden. The difference between the two countries like China and New Zealand, for example, is that China is lacking most likely all of the UDHR, while the whole of New Zealand is living their dreams by doing whatever they want.
