The government was talking to Te Whiti. Aunty Maata said that those Pakeha are always coming, going, saying the same thing and never listening. Api said they have two weeks left until the soldiers come. When Rarawa went for a swim, Rarawa said to Rangi the soldiers are coming from the new road they made that was leading to New Plymouth. The Pakeha government was taking and destroying the fences and crops. Later the soldiers came and pushed their way through the people that were in the village. A man named Bryce with a cannon on the hill read out and order for the people to leave. Then Tohu said we find peace and we find war.

Your summary is very good and I adore how you described the name instead of saying him/her. Your sequence was also wonderful. I also made a summary but the points were a bit different. Did you know that the title means:The Cicadas of Parihaka. Was it easy for you to make your summary?
