Dog Wash

Walt: write a narrative

It was a gorgeous morning for a dog wash. Once there was a girl named Lara. Lara is a kind loving animal person who has blonde long straight hair with blue eyes. Sometimes Lara would always ways wash her dog every weekend. “Come on boy. Where are you? It’s time for a wash. Come on.” yelled Lara as she was looking for her dog Mason. Lara couldn't see Mason because, Mason would always hide in the long golden grass which would always make him camouflage.

When Lara tries to give Mason a wash, all Mason could do to get away from Lara is to run away from her when she is catching him. Lara gets so stressed out because Mason has never done that before. Mason kept running and running away all the time.

Finally Lara caught Mason. Lara said to Mason, “now come on boy. It’s time for a wash. There's no time for playing.” Lara then washed Mason. Mason jumped out of the bath tub and wriggled and jiggled like he was dancing till there was no water on him. So Mason scurried away into the long grass and ran through a puddle of sticky gooey mud.

Lara was so angry that when Mason looked at Lara, Mason knew that Lara had her angry face on, so Mason walked sadly back into the bathtub to make happiness come back. After when Mason got back into his bathtub, Mason looked at Lara if she was happy. Lara was satisfied with Mason, so Mason gave Lara a big lick on the cheeks. Lara said to Mason with joy, “thanks Mason. I love you too.”

Lara finally gave Mason a spot on clean body. After when Lara gave Mason a bath, they played together. They kept playing and playing until they got to playing hide and seek.

During this week we have been learning about drawing a scatter graph. With one piece of newspaper, we all had to make three different sized paper planes. A big, medium and small plane. After that we had to get into groups of three to work. We threw the paper planes and measured how far our paper planes flew in cm. When everyone finished, we plotted the numbers onto the scatter graph. Then we had to make one line to reach as many points.

Alien Cook Book

This week, the class have been learning how to understand capacity, length and weights. In this activity it was all about length and measuring. In this game, I got 6 out of 6 questions right. What I would like to do next is to revise capacity so I could know it off by heart.
