WALT: research and write a report
In 1917 July 11 there was a battle between NZ, Australia and Germany. The battle between NZ, Australia and Germany was held in Belgium. Then after the battle, the germans lost many soldiers and took two and half days to clear the battlefield.

Henry James Nicholas was born on the 15 of April 1843.
Nicholas’s rank was being a Sergeant.
When Nicholas went into war he was 27.

I liked how you were explaining facts about your person you had planted in the dirt. When I was planting my cross it couldn't stand still. Room 11 students was wearing there red poppy to remember the people who had died in war. Did you hear about nurse lottie?
Yes, she was a nurse who went to world war 1.
