Number sentences

We have been learning how to write stories to match given number sentences.

1. 49 + 6 =
Jack had 49 ice blocks in his fridge, Jill came with 6 more ice blocks.  How many many ice blocks does Jack have altogether?

2. 67 - 19 =
Ken had 67 marbles. He lost 19 marbles. How many marbles does Ken have left?

3. 146 - 68 =
Dallas had $146 in her bank account, she withdrew 68 dollars and gave it to her sister. What is the balance of Dallas account now?

4. 230 + 145 =
Tara had 230 books in her bookshelf, she bought 145 more books. How many books does she have now?

5. 4 x 5 =
Jade bought 4 bags of cookies. There were 5 big cookies in each bag.  How many cookies does Jade have altogether?

6. 18 divide 6 =
Stella bought 18 lollipops, she shared it equally between her 6 cousins. How many lollipops did each of her cousin get?
