Estimation Activities

During this whole week, we estimated many parts a cob of a sweetcorn. The people that I worked with were Shanelle and Nataliyar. When we got a cob of corn we had to estimate then count it. I found that estimating corn was easy. I think that working in a group is a lot easier because when we are stuck on something, then the person next to you can help you. What I want to learn next is to revise decimals.

Auckland is rated the third most liveable city in the world. I like living in Auckland because of the beautiful beaches, the wonderful parks and also the nice clean air.

Samantha and Michaela

Today two girls from Te awamutu came to our school to help us. Their names are Samantha and Michaela. They helped us by donating swimming gears for the people who don't have any swimming togs. When they came to our class they talked about how they won their trophy's and other things.  

Basic Facts

This is my basic facts result. I was writing stage 6. As shown, my score was 40 out of 50. The things that I need practise on is writing the numbers down and more practise on grater than and less than.
